Impact You'll Make:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for working with different teams that support the business and operational requirements for Africa EUC IT Support & Enablement, including Asset Management.

  • You will provide administrative support and guidance to the IT Department, in relation to the End User experience. The role also requires a high level of understanding in the areas of ITIL; Asset Management & SharePoint, which includes ACLs; document management; version control; ad hoc reporting as well as other proactive administrative activities.

  • The purpose of this role is to assist in the ITIL space, wrt to designing & maintaining a central repository to manage all documentation within Transunion.

  • To build your own technical and professional skills, you will proactively seek out on-the-job training from seniors and other resources within the TU.

As an IT Administrator, you’ll need to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, with occasionally conflicting priorities. Key responsibilities span 2 areas:

1. Support

  • Day to day monitoring & tracking of End user bookings/terminations through Remedy.

  • Managing Central Repository for all data pertinent to IT Support/Operations.

  • Proactive monitoring of the End user estate, security compliance and patching.

  • Manage the update of process documentation on an on-going basis.

  • Partnering and facilitating support vendors for RFQs; Logistics & tracking of orders/deliveries.

  • Working closely with Infrastructure & Application teams for service delivery & cohesion.

  • Working with InfoSec teams, ensure that DR and BCP requirements and documentation is kept up to date and fit for purpose.

  • Carry out Microsoft & Third-party application Audits.

  • Ad hoc End user Audits/Reports (FTTH/SCCM/Software/Vulnerability)

  • Provide guidance and advice to other staff involved in keeping documents up to date.

  • Continually review solutions to identify savings.

2. Analysis

  • Learns how to identify opportunity and may be able to offer recommendations and solutions for improving efficiency and service.

  • Researches and evaluates technology solutions that improve and enhance efficiencies for the corporate environment and recommends solutions to manager.

  • The role requires a high level of technical expertise in SharePoint administration, view of the SCCM environment, Anti-Virus, Windows patching, and Mobile Device Management.

The role is also required to make recommendations in the way we manage our processes more effectively: Including:

  • Windows 10/11 experience

  • Mobile – iOS • ITIL best practice

  • Troubleshooting and triage

  • Vendor Management

  • SCCM knowledge

  • Solid End User Hardware experience

  • A good understanding of software, Office, Viso, Adobe, SQL Etc.,

  • Asset Panda

  • Security and Compliance

  • Software licensing and Asset management

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
