As an Enterprise IP Pre-Sales & Business Development Engineer at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in driving our IP solutions into the enterprise market in UK. You’ll work closely with account managers and customers to uncover new sales opportunities, leveraging your expertise in data center and networking technologies. Collaborating with a dynamic and passionate team, you will craft innovative technical solutions and lead compelling proof-of-concept engagements with major clients, significantly impacting our business growth. Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the enterprise market, focusing on significant business impact.
  • Collaborate with account and area managers to define and develop new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of data center networking technologies to support solution proposals.
  • Present and articulate Nokia’s value proposition, showcasing a strong understanding of market dynamics.
  • Lead and execute proof-of-concept projects, combining MPLS and data center solutions for major customers.
  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills to develop and lead impactful business cases.
  • Engage with customers to address concerns and tailor technical solutions that meet their demands.
  • Stay motivated and adaptable, continuously learning about emerging technologies and market trends.
     
Qualifications

You have:

  • Hands-on experience in presales/business development in Telecommunications and Data Center networking.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking, cloud and data center architecture.
  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications such as Nokia SRC, Cisco CCIE, or Juniper JNCIE.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Expertise in solution and consultative selling, particularly in data center fabric technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of competitive landscape and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead business cases for innovative solutions.
  • Fluency in english
