About the job:

The Product Manager will lead the product management activities for strategic initiatives within the GM Investment Solutions AI Plan, strengthening the London e-connectivity team’s (Sales and Trading) role as the central product owner. 

This position is responsible for translating business needs into clear product requirements, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders across the value chain, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

The role will drive requirement prioritization, support user testing and validation, and oversee the product lifecycle through development sign-off, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and customer needs. 

As a senior leader, the Product Manager will act as a key interface between business, technology, and governance teams, enabling effective execution of AI-driven solutions in a complex, regulated environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with in-line manager in defining and implementing the Overall e-Connectivity Strategy and working plan to meet internal & external customer needs and demands.

  • Interact as required with clients and attend periodic visits together with other GM areas in order to reinforce BBVA relationship with clients

  • Lead product management for the AI Plan initiative within the e-connectivity team

  • Translate business needs into detailed solution requirements

  • Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders

  • Prioritize roadmap and requirements

  • Drive user testing and validation

  • Ensure quality and sign-off of development deliverables

  • Contribute to the analyse and monitor client activity via electronic platforms, collaborating when needed in the elaboration and distribution periodic and ad-hoc reports based on the clients ́ electronic platform activity

  • Collaborate with the Trading and Sales teams in order to establish the adequate parameters for each client in the electronic platforms (spreads, prices, etc.) as required for the AI project .

  • Ensure front-to-end service to eClients by working together with BackOffice on new ePlatform ventures

  • Report to in-line manager on a periodic basis.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or other Business related majors.

  • +7 years of experience in Structured Products Workflow

  • Programming knowledge knowledge. 

  • English fluency and Spanish will be valuable.
