Investment Oversight Manager
This is a great job for someone who has led oversight of both external and internally managed active and passive UK regulated funds.
A bit about the job:
Within this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of UK regulated funds, including Open-Ended Investment Companies (OEICs) and Tax Transparent Funds (TTFs). You will need to monitor funds to ensure they are aligned with investment objectives, guidelines and regulatory standards. You’ll be responsible for due diligence checks for UK regulated funds, covering aspects such as trading lifecycles, systems, and compliance practices, whilst also preparing detailed reports on due diligence findings and recommend actions to mitigate identified risks. You’ll continuously build an effective operating model to ensure investment managers are adhering to regulatory and operational requirements and aligned to a sound risk and control environment. In addition to this, the successful individual will also act as an internal Centre of Excellence on relevant topics related to investment oversight.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Knowledge of best Compliance/Regulatory practice.

Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.

Successful track record of building effective working relationships at a senior level to actively influence and achieve results / Stakeholder management.

Comprehensive understanding of responsibilities relating to managing regulated funds.

IMC or equivalent; or recognized historical knowledge, experience and/or qualification. CISI Certificate in Investment Operations would be helpful.
