About Fasanara Capital

Founded in 2011, Fasanara Capital is a London-headquartered, technology-driven alternative asset manager with approximately USD 7.5 billion in assets under management and 154 team members across four global offices. The firm manages capital on behalf of an institutional investor base that includes insurers, pension funds, banks, endowments and family offices.
Fasanara is the world’s largest player in fintech lending, with more than USD 130 billion deployed since inception. Building on this flagship capability, the firm is evolving into a multi-asset credit specialist, with a platform spanning CLOs, ABS, trade finance, middle-market direct lending and other specialist credit strategies. Alongside credit, Fasanara also manages crypto market-neutral and multi-manager quantitative strategies, combining institutional investment discipline with proprietary technology and a global origination network.

The Role

We’re looking for a driven, detail-focused and hands-on individual to join our Investment Operations team in London, primarily supporting Fasanara’s Performing Credit Working Capital strategy across structured credit, payables finance, receivables purchases and combined AP/AR financing.

You will own facility operations from onboarding and transaction readiness through funding, settlement, collections and monitoring. As business owner of the strategy’s internally developed technology portal, you will work with Technology to establish it as the operational system of record, developing its workflows, controls and integrations as the business scales.

You will also support the broader Credit Investment Operations team across settlements, payments, reconciliations, fintech lender relationships, new investment structures and operational projects.

What You’ll Do

Working Capital Solutions

  • Own the end-to-end operational lifecycle of Performing Credit Working Capital facilities, including structured facilities, payables finance, receivables purchases and combined AP/AR structures.
  • Coordinate counterparty onboarding and transaction readiness, ensuring facility terms, approvals, documentation and operational arrangements are in place before funding.
  • Review transaction submissions against approved terms and eligibility criteria, performing invoice, duplicate-financing, counterparty and payment-detail checks.
  • Calculate or independently verify purchase prices, advances, discounts, interest, fees, settlements and AP/AR set-offs, and prepare funding instructions under Fasanara’s maker-checker framework.
  • Maintain accurate facility and transaction records, monitor utilisation and collections, reconcile cash movements and investigate discrepancies.
  • Manage short-term cash forecasts, monitor overdue receivables, disputes, dilution and concentration risks, and escalate material exceptions.
  • Produce operational reporting and maintain complete, audit-ready records of approvals, documentation, calculations, payments and exception resolution.
  • Continuously improve procedures, onboarding checklists, reconciliations, exception management, service levels and escalation processes.

Technology & Process Ownership

  • Act as the business owner of Fasanara’s performing credit working capital portal, ensuring facilities, transactions, approvals, funding, collections and outstanding actions are accurately and promptly captured.
  • Ensure internal users and external counterparties are correctly onboarded and that access and information are appropriately segregated.
  • Monitor workflow completeness and data quality, resolving validation failures, missing information and incomplete actions.
  • Work closely with Technology to define requirements, improve workflows and develop integrations with FasAtomics and other internal systems, with the objective of eliminating unnecessary manual entry and operational risk.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, operating procedures and training as the platform develops.
  • Continuously challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for automation, better controls and greater scalability.

Broader Investment Operations

  • Support the operational lifecycle of transactions across Fasanara’s wider Credit platform.
  • Monitor and manage payments, settlements, cash movements and post-trade reconciliations, taking prompt remedial action where required.
  • Work with fintech originators, servicers and other external counterparties to ensure operational obligations, reporting and transaction requirements are met.
  • Support the operational onboarding of new lenders, service providers, investment structures and products.
  • Work closely with Fund Controllers and other internal teams on transaction data, valuations, NAV inputs and reporting where required.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and process improvements across Investment Operations as the firm's strategies and infrastructure continue to evolve

Requirements
  • Experience in working capital, structured or receivables finance, factoring, supply-chain/payables finance or asset-backed lending, including reviewing loan or receivables tapes and working with originators or servicers.
  • Exposure to investment operations, trade support, middle office, fund operations or transaction banking.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an understanding of transaction economics, basic accounting and the links between the balance sheet, P&L and cash flow statement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ownership, with the confidence to challenge discrepancies and independently validate calculations, documents and instructions.
  • A resourceful, organised approach, with the ability to investigate problems independently and prioritise competing transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, ideally including VBA, and an interest in technology, automation and AI. SQL or Python experience is valuable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude, with the confidence to engage professionally with external counterparties and colleagues across functions.
  • A process-improvement mindset and genuine curiosity about alternative credit, fintech lending and asset-backed transactions.
