We are seeking a talented Investment Manager to join the Investment Integration & Client Reporting subdivision of our Asset Management team. Reporting to a Senior Investment Manager, this exciting role combines input to asset allocation and portfolio construction of the various MW investment propositions, in addition to collaboration with consultants to enhance client outcomes.

Additionally, you will support the integration of acquired businesses and oversee bespoke client portfolios that fall outside the Centralised Investment Proposition.

What you’ll be doing

· Portfolio management: Oversee multi-asset portfolios and bespoke client accounts, ensuring alignment with client mandates and strategies.

· Strategic input: Contribute to asset allocation and investment ideas to enhance multi-asset solutions. Assist in the integration of the investment function of acquired businesses.

· Stakeholder communication: Provide clear, concise updates to consultants, clients, and external partners.

· Committee participation: Actively engage in monthly and/or quarterly meetings for portfolio management, asset allocation, risk and performance.

· Compliance: Ensure adherence to FCA regulations and maintain CPD and SPS records. Certification is required for this role.

· Key relationships: Work closely with the Asset Management and Research teams to achieve exceptional risk-adjusted returns while keeping consultants informed with relevant updates to enhance their client interactions.

What we’re looking for

· Qualifications: Minimum Level 4 investment-focused qualification required; Level 7 preferred.

· Experience: At least two years in investment management, with a background in private client or asset management preferred.

· Education: 2:1 degree or higher in engineering, economics, mathematics, statistics, operational research, accounting, or a related field preferred.

· Skills:

- extensive portfolio management and global multi-asset allocation expertise

- strong knowledge of investment structures and their impact on client outcomes

- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, FE Analytics, and Morningstar or equivalent

- exceptional written and oral communication skills, with client reporting and media experience desirable
