Job Summary:
As a Vice President within the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team, you will work with senior colleagues to develop and implement J.P. Morgan's business strategy for ECM in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will be responsible for originating and leading ECM transactions, providing product input and intelligence to senior regional colleagues, and developing and deepening relationships with key clients. Additionally, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to ECM team members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with senior colleagues to develop and implement J.P. Morgan's business strategy for ECM in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Develop and deepen relationships with key clients.
- Originate and lead ECM transactions.
- Provide product input and intelligence to senior regional colleagues in coverage and product groups.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to ECM team members.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Relevant Investment Banking experience, ideally with relevant ECM experience.
- German speaker.
- Outstanding ethics, integrity, and judgment.
- Very strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to comfortably interact with senior clients in a skilled, professional manner.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort in and commitment to a strong teamwork environment.
- Experience working as part of a high-performing team.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity.
- Excellent academic track record.
