Role OverviewAs an FPGA Hardware Design Intern, you’ll work alongside industry experts in an Agile environment, gaining hands-on experience in hardware and software co-design. From day one, your ideas will matter, and you’ll contribute to real-world projects that shape the future of digital systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the full development lifecycle of FPGA IPs and systems—from concept and specification to implementation, verification, and release.
Develop SoC (CPU + FPGA) designs for advanced video and analytics applications.
Model and prototype new architectures.
Optimize FPGA-based board support packages.
Collaborate with local and global teams, and occasionally interact with customers.
Duration: 13-month fixed-term placement.
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in a UK-based university on a relevant degree (Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or similar).
Eligibility: Ideal for 2nd or 3rd-year students enrolled in a degree with an industrial placement year.

Strong digital design skills (FPGA or ASIC) using Verilog/VHDL.
Programming experience in C/C++.
