The role of International Sales Representative will lead primarily our Thought Leadership / Special ReportsEvent Sponsorship, and CEO Membership sales efforts. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies aimed at driving revenue through high-value sponsorship opportunities and premium thought leadership content partnerships, working closely with key stakeholders and clients to deliver innovative sponsorship solutions that align with industry-leading events and content platforms. 

This is a full-time role, working from 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday, with the ability to work from home anywhere in the UK.

Competitive salary and commission. 

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation: 

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow revenue through the sale of sponsorship opportunities for events, webinars, and thought leadership / special reports topics and content.
  • Identify, target, and secure special report /event sponsorship opportunities with new and existing clients, ensuring high-value partnerships and strong ROI.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.

Client Relationship Management: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-level clients, including C-suite executives and marketing decision-makers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate sponsorship opportunities that align with their brand objectives and target audience.
  • Deliver customized sponsorship packages tailored to clients’ specific goals and industry.

Thought Leadership Partnerships / Special Reports: 

  • Sell thought leadership platforms such as whitepapers, roundtables, keynote speaking spots, and sponsored content in key industry publications.
  • Work with internal content teams to create and deliver premium content that positions clients as industry leaders and influencers.

Event Sponsorships: 

  • Lead sales efforts for sponsorship opportunities at major events, including conferences, summits, and webinars.
  • Collaborate with the event management team to design sponsorship packages that enhance event visibility and audience engagement.
  • Ensure all sponsorship agreements are executed successfully, delivering value for both the sponsor and the event.

CEO Membership Sales

  • Sell CEO membership packages internationally.
  • Collaborate with the US Newsweek team where required.

Other Projects: 

  • Take the initiative to lead and implement additional projects as required by your line manager.
  • Any other reasonable duties to meet the needs of the business.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven relevant B2B sales experience (ideally media, events, or sponsorships) 
  • Track record of achieving revenue targets 
  • Experience selling high-value, consultative solutions 
  • Exposure to international clients/markets 
  • Understanding of event sponsorship and content-led sales 
  • Familiarity with thought leadership products (e.g. whitepapers, webinars) 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with a strong academic record preferred 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong commercial and strategic sales skills 
  • Ability to build relationships, including with senior stakeholders (E.g. C-suite) 
  • Strong research skills  
  • Competence in using AI tools (e.g. to assist with research) 
  • Skills in presenting and producing decks 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously 
  • New business development and account growth capability 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Team player 
  • Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven 
  • Willingness to travel as required
