Job Description
Key Responsibilities

  • Be passionate about AI & Innovation - focused on defining the broad AI strategy and how to bring to life within the Private Bank. Owns and drives the product roadmap to meet business goals and provide a leading customer and product experience. Partners with developers and UX designers to deliver intuitive and differentiated user experience. Prioritizes and defines each feature to meet client and business goals, while also meeting control requirements.
  • Gather, organise, and assimilate internal needs and external (especially competitor) initiatives to identify and prioritize opportunities for IPB. Invests in a deep understanding of the business opportunity, advisor & client needs and competitive landscape to inform which initiatives and features to pursue. Develop a deep understanding of IPB business priorities & client growth focus areas (and pain points). Draw connections between related work across disciplines and data domains - understand key themes and ideas to support innovation.
  • Embody true "customer-obsession". Be a subject matter expert & stay updated/develop insights on AI/LLM (and areas like VR/AR) related technological advancements in the broader industry.
  • Lead & drive (AI/LLM) product incubations to elevate the client and internal experience. Educate leadership, present findings and influence stakeholders. Partner with digital products, design & technology team (including data science). Build strong partnerships with functional support areas (specifically LRCCP across IPB) to understand landscape, eliminate roadblocks & drive deployment of this technology at scale.
  • Define and track KPIs for usage & impact (both quantitative & qualitative) metrics - evangelize for adoption.


Necessary Qualifications

  • Strong experience in a product management role, preferably with experience in the technology or finance industry or a closely related business leading strategic or transformational change.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing technologies, with experience of applying them to real-world problems.
  • Extensive leadership experience managing product delivery across multiple work streams with varying timelines, priorities and complexities , ultimately launching new / enhanced product to market.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, say 'no' when required, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals.
  • Naturally curious and logically minded - ability to gather, analyze and synthesize a significant amount of information, and turn it into clear and actionable next steps.
  • Analytical and data-driven - track record of utilizing data to measure performance, identify opportunities, and make successful decisions.
  • Experience in KPI frameworks such as OKRs or HEART to communicate measures of success.
  • Proven ability to execute via successful internal partnerships with other organizations.
  • Influence peers with diverse points of view and build consensus.
  • Ability to crisply articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence.
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to remain calm under intense pressure - identify and solve critical problems, and go after stretch goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of different technological development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and design techniques with ability to successfully lead regardless of approach.
