The Opportunity:   

XR is seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as the International Managing Director Sales, based in London, overseeing EMEA & JPAC regions. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales executive to drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, and lead sales efforts internationally. 

Reporting directly to the EVP, Global Sales, the MD will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and increase market share. This role will lead a sales team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and training to deliver exceptional results. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving sales growth, building high-performing teams, and cultivating strong customer relationships in the UK/global advertising and media industry. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute EMEA and JPAC sales strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives, while aligning with North American leaders for global accounts 
  • Lead and manage sales team in UK, EMEA leads and JPAC leads, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and support to enable their success 
  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring and retaining key accounts, expanding the customer base, and exploring new market opportunities 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions 
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation 
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the executive team 
  • Stay current with industry best practices and trends, and apply knowledge to drive continuous improvement 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) 
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the advertising and media industry 
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams 
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships 
  • Experience in global sales and working with cross-cultural teams 
  • Ability to travel internationally as required 
  • Strong knowledge base of digital, ad tech, data
