About the Role

The role of the International Customer Controller (m/f/x) is crucial in navigating the rapidly evolving landscape for international customers across Europe. With accelerated consolidation and increasing demands on suppliers, this position supports the development and execution of Haleon's International Customer Strategy. The aim is to mitigate customer demands while capitalizing on opportunities, all delivered through a unified ONE Europe P&L approach.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the development and evolution of the International Customer Strategy across EMEA & LATAM, leading its execution across an international customer portfolio.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Haleon BU & Markets ComEx & Sales leads, fostering a collaborative culture under the ONE Haleon, ONE EMEA/L framework.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with priority international customers, positioning Haleon as a thought leader in healthcare and a strong execution partner.
  • Oversee the execution of international customer contracts, ensuring compliance and driving a return on investment.
  • Manage an international customer portfolio through a ONE Europe P&L, utilizing regional ComEx Team capabilities to generate and execute shopper insights.
  • Deliver a “Zero Drift Mindset” at the international customer level, focusing on full customer P&L management and leveraging Haleon brands to enhance innovation and profitability.

Qualifications and skills

  • Possess a university degree or higher, with over 7 years of experience managing an FMCG account team in a major European market or direct international customer management.
  • Demonstrate strong influencing skills, with the ability to guide teams and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Exhibit exceptional strategic, analytical, and financial acumen, along with robust presentation and communication skills.
  • Be a confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in project and process design/management, showcasing high resilience and proactivity.
  • Fluent in English, with multilingual abilities (FR, GER, ESP, NL) and an understanding of the consumer healthcare category preferred.
