Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain internal tools that empower many operators from various teams across the organization.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure our tools streamline workflows and meet business needs.
- Integrate with internal systems and third-party APIs to enhance functionality.
- Write efficient, scalable, maintainable and well-tested code using modern best practices.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure reliability and rapid issue resolution.
- Engage in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of our internal infrastructure.
- Translate operational needs into technical solutions
Experience and Background:
- Experience writing enterprise-level code in languages like Javascript, Ruby or Python.
- Proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and schema design.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Experience with SQL
Bonus Points
- Experience writing well tested, type-safe code using Typescript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Experience building internal tools or dashboards that drive business operations.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD practices.
- Exposure to data visualization frameworks or tools.
