Job Description

Business Development Full‑time Monday–Friday

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially focused Account Executive (Internal Sales) to join our Business Development team. This desk‑based role is central to supporting our customers, driving growth and ensuring they receive a consistent, high‑quality service.

About the role

As the key internal point of contact for a defined customer base, you’ll build strong relationships, manage opportunities through to completion and ensure our CRM systems reflect accurate, up‑to‑date information. You’ll identify new opportunities, support upselling and cross‑selling, and help onboard new customers to ensure a smooth start to their journey with Adler & Allan.

You’ll maintain regular communication with customers, provide updates on quotations and enquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely, compliant and effective solutions. You’ll also support marketing activity, generate opportunities and assist in arranging appointments for our field‑based teams.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing customer contact and recording all activity in the CRM system
  • Producing accurate quotations and estimates
  • Supporting marketing campaigns and opportunity generation
  • Handling incoming enquiries professionally and identifying sales opportunities
  • Ensuring contracted services are delivered in line with requirements
  • Coordinating with internal teams to gather job information and support reporting
  • Providing account‑based reporting internally and externally
  • Building relationships through calls, emails and virtual meetings

Qualifications

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/database experience
  • Proven sales or account management capability
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, customer‑focused mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience in a service‑led or environmental industry is an advantage
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
