About Us
What makes Integral a great place to work? When we speak face-to-face with our staff, they always say that it's the people. We work collaboratively, all pitching in to achieve shared goals and supporting each other to take on responsibility. Our culture is friendly and approachable, with colleagues who care about the outcomes of their work.
We're a mid-size, financially secure business, not a large corporate, and that means people in the company can see the material impact of the work they do every day. We also have a strong history of progression within the business, evidenced by the number of senior staff who started out in entry-level positions.
We want Integral to be a place where people enjoy working and, if that sounds like your kind of workplace, we'd love to hear from you.
About The Role
Integral LED is a growing lighting brand - we sell primarily to electrical wholesalers (e.g. CEF, Rexel, Edmundsons, YESSS etc.) and this role puts you at the heart of the sales operation. As an Internal Sales Executive, you won't simply support the team; you'll help drive the growth of sales, working hand in hand with our External Sales team to win new business and grow the accounts we already have.
It's a role that rewards curiosity and initiative, and full training is provided. It will suit someone early in their sales career, or someone keen to move into sales. What matters most is that you enjoy building relationships, want to learn our products and the technical detail behind them, and like the idea of turning that knowledge into sales.
Day to day, you'll balance two things: proactively identifying and pursuing new business and up-selling opportunities across accounts; and, acting as the reliable inside partner to our Key Account Managers, keeping quotes, orders and CRM records updated. You'll work closely with the Key Account Managers, and liaise across the business with teams such as Product Management to give customers a seamless experience. From time to time, you'll also support customer visits and attend trade shows.
You'll be based at our Head Office in Wembley.
Responsibilities
New Business & Account Growth
  • Identify and qualify new customers through prospecting, direct contact, email campaigns and online research
  • Proactively increase customer contact on target and new accounts to drive sales growth
  • Manage the full sales cycle for these accounts, from lead generation through to order
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, answering sales queries by phone and email, offering tailored solutions and building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Spot cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within accounts
Supporting the Key Account Managers (KAMs)
  • Work with KAMs to build quotes that are presented to customers.
  • Track orders through to delivery, keeping customers updated.
  • Review account purchase history and highlight notable sales trends to the KAM.
  • Qualify inbound leads to help the Key Account Managers focus their time on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Be a consistent point of contact for customers and act as the internal bridge to teams such as Finance and Product Management.
CRM
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and contacts in our CRM.
Customer Visits & Trade Shows
  • Support customer visits alongside the External Key Account Management sales team.
  • Attend trade shows from time to time to build your network and identify new business opportunities.
About You
  • You have a real desire to build a career in sales. You may already be in a sales or customer-facing role – we’re open on background and full training is provided.
  • Someone who enjoys building relationships with and solving problems for customers.
  • A natural technical aptitude with the confidence and desire to learn about our products and the technicalities behind them.
  • A strong sales instinct, with account management and relationship-building skills.
  • You enjoy working in a team and enjoy supporting other people in the department, as well as being happy to take on responsibility and work autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage your time effectively.
  • Good level of IT literacy – CRM experience is helpful (and training will be provided).
  • Knowledge of LED lighting or the electrical wholesale industry is a bonus, though not essential.
