Join the Johnson Controls Marine/Offshore Product Sales team in Manchester as an Internal Sales Associate. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key point of contact for our customers, addressing product inquiries, processing quotes, and managing orders, while also providing essential support to our external sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process client requests for quotations.
- Respond to client inquiries with timely and accurate information.
- Raise product order requisitions to facilitate sales operations.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records, ensuring data accuracy.
- Stay informed on product offerings and updates, enhancing your knowledge base.
- Follow up with clients regarding quotations to secure sales.
- Provide order expediting and shipping support to ensure timely delivery.
- Leverage existing technical knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Utilize Mentor for processing and tracking sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience in a similar sales support role is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
