As an Internal Auditor in Barcelona (Spain), the UK, or Germany, you will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with company policies and procedures, and the identification and mitigation of risks. This position provides the opportunity to drive operational excellence and support financial integrity while collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive audit plan covering all aspects of the organization’s operations.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Work with internal experts to optimize audit preparation and execution, leveraging data analytics and SAP configuration reviews.
  • Present audit results to stakeholders and prepare clear, concise reports for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Audit Committee.
  • Identify and assess significant business risks and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of controls.
  • Detect, prevent, and monitor fraud risks; assist with special investigations as needed.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in audit processes and practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CIA, or CISA required; PMP/Prince2 preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years in audit control (preferably in manufacturing industries).
  • English – Business Fluent.
  • Proficiency in audit software, data analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Good knowledge of SAP and related applications.
  • Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining effectiveness.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across functions and geographies.
  • Hands-on, persistent, and solution-oriented and Leadership: Ability to set direction and manage global projects in a complex matrix structure.
