We are looking for a Internal Communications Specialist to join our mission to create a #CyberFit future and protect all data, applications and systems across any environment. 

The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for improving global internal communications, which includes employee communications, executive communications, town hall internal training, and diversity initiatives. The goal of this role is to engage employees and deliver consistent internal messaging about company performance and strategy. The Internal Communications Specialist will report directly to the Communications and Social Media Manager.

*This role can be remote anywhere in the UK

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Internal Communications Content: Plan, edit, and write internal company communications across email, intranet, and Teams platforms.
  • Department Internal Communications: Develop internal assets and communications materials for key stakeholders in multiple different departments within the organization, including HR, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Executive Communications Support: Support the executive team with internal communications related to Townhalls, internal events, presentations, and email updates.
  • Content: Work frequently with written and visual content to ensure company strategic goals are communicated effectively. Including: Editing written content submitted by other departments, editing scripts for video content, and providing briefing materials to executives.
  • Townhalls: Lead content and execution of quarterly Global Townhall and region-based Q&A sessions with local teams.
  • Engagement Activities: Provide content and support planning of employee engagement activities including Acronis #CyberDiversity.
  • Internal Events: Lead internal events initiatives, including virtual manager training and team-building activities.
  • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with the Social Media and Internal Communications manager and senior managers.
  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the creative team of designers.
  • Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly, with a readiness to explore opportunities for communication improvements.
  • Polish presentations in collaboration with the executive team and design team.

WHAT YOU BRING

Key skills:

  • Writing skills: You need excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees.
  • Creative skills: You need the creative ability to devise communication strategies.
  • Digital skills: Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication, is essential.
  • Interpersonal skills: You need good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to collaborate across departments, particularly Marketing, Sales, and HR teams.
  • Presentation skills: You need a good knowledge of quality presentation design and the ability to update presentations quickly.
  • Skills with the Figma platform are a bonus, but not required.

Relevant experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a communications team, especially internal communications, for a global organization, is preferred.
  • Experience writing for a variety of different mediums (email, video scripts, chat, etc.) is strongly encouraged.
  • Experience working on communications with executive-level management is beneficial.
  • General marketing or internal communications experience is beneficial.
  • Photo and video editing skills are a plus.

Qualifications:

  • A BA in communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism is an advantage, though other degrees are often acceptable.
