Internal Communications Manager

HBK is transforming, and the key to our success is our people. The Internal Communications team is at the heart of bringing together our 3,500 colleagues across the world and building our connections as One HBK.

We’re looking for an experienced, creative and talented Internal Communications manager to work closely with leaders and people managers to embed a compelling narrative that supports transformation, change adoption, and a culture of inclusion and performance.

You’ll be part of our small but impactful Internal Communications team working across a wide variety of communications activities to engage and inspire our colleagues to live our Values: Own It, Aim High and Be True.

You’ll play an important role:

• Working closely with the Internal Communications Lead and Internal Communications Managers to generate ideas and deliver content that is purposeful, inspiring, caring, and creates curiosity and ambition in our people.

• Supporting multiple stakeholders including our leadership team as their trusted internal communications partner, helping to join the dots across our many transformation, engagement and performance programmes.

• Creating and executing internal communications plans aligned with business objectives and our overall IC strategy.

• Giving our colleagues a voice at this pivotal point in our history and celebrating their achievements.

• Partnering with the People team to align on relevant employee programmes to develop our culture and employee engagement.

• Co-ordinating with our external communications colleagues to effectively showcase HBK internally and externally to build pride and visibility of our solutions.

• Managing some of our regular communications activity, including our weekly In Case You Missed It wrap up email. And contribute to our flagship activities such as the fortnightly global townhall and twice-yearly Big Conversation events.

• Using your creative and digital skills across a variety of channels to keep our communications fresh and exciting, delivering purposeful, inspiring and caring content.

• Measuring the effectiveness of internal communications activities. Continuously improve our communications channels based on data, feedback and external inspiration.

To succeed in the role, you will demonstrate:

• A track record of implementing successful internal communication and engagement strategies, to support change management and transformation, embedding it through the employment culture.

• Experience working in matrix organisations, post-merger integration, business transformation and change adoption

• Experience in all aspects of internal communications including crisis comms. Strategic thinking and hands-on execution through strong communications planning.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluency in English, other languages an advantage particularly Danish, German or Chinese.

• Strong software skills, including the full Microsoft Office 365 suite, basic web publishing (we use Unily for our intranet), video or podcasting skills an advantage.

• Confidence in stakeholder relationship skills and a strong ability to prioritise and multi-task in a busy team environment.
