Where you’ll fit in & what our team goals are…
Your role sits within the EMEA Corporate Affairs team and is part of the global Corporate Communications function. You will work closely with the Head of Corporate Communications, EMEA and APAC and global Internal Communications team to lead internal communication activities, campaigns and events across EMEA and APAC.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented communications professional to join a dynamic and strategic function and lead on a broad range of projects across the organisation.

How you'll spend your time...

  • Lead employee communications consulting across a diverse range of business lines and staff functions in EMEA and APAC

  • Manage and oversee execution of communication strategies to drive engagement, awareness and results around key programmes, processes or information

  • Develop and direct communication plans and key messages, including complex projects and ensuring alignment with overall editorial and communication strategy both regionally and globally

  • Write, edit, and oversee communications content, including presentation creation, intranet editorial, email and digital assets

  • Provide oversight of two EMEA internal communications executives, and work collaboratively with the broader EMEA Corporate Affairs team and the global internal communications team to ensure alignment of messaging and consistent use of channels

  • Manage end-to-end approval processes, engaging SMEs, senior leaders, global partners and compliance as needed

  • Engage and influence key leaders, business partners and other stakeholders to develop communication strategies that meet their needs and contribute to the strategic business priorities

  • Provide coaching and experience, act as champion for the team and intervene on matters that create roadblocks to individual or organisational success

To be successful in this role you will have...

  • Extensive experience in Internal Communications

  • Solid knowledge of Financial Services

  • Able to understand complex, technical subject matter and create communications suited to a sophisticated business audience

  • Strong influencing skills and proven effectiveness in consulting with different business areas

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

  • Natural flair for communication with excellent writing skills and attention to detail

  • Tact, emotional intelligence, initiative and good judgement

  • Motivated, self-starter and strong team player willing to get involved in all aspects of the team’s work

  • Preferred experience of working in a global organisation
