YOUR NEW TEAM    

This position sits in our Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) business. The Pernod Ricard UK Communications department supports the business in its Company objectives through enhancing and protecting the reputation of Pernod Ricard UK, its brands and its people. The Pernod Ricard UK Communications team’s responsibilities cover Corporate Communications (corporate PR, crisis and issues management, cultural partnerships, specialised event management), external communication (B2B and B2C Communications), internal communications and Sustainability and Responsibility (the environment, social enterprise and responsible drinking).

ABOUT YOUR ROLE    

As the Internal Communications Lead, you will lead the development, management, and implementation of communication and event strategies. You will oversee internal and corporate events, ensuring they align with Pernod Ricard UK’s strategic objectives and brand values. This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead projects, collaborate with various teams, and ensure the successful delivery of key business objectives.

Your role will include:

•    Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive communication and event strategies that support the company’s goals and enhance brand reputation.
•    Team Leadership: Mentor the Corporate Communications Intern, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
•    Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited too senior management, brand teams, and external partners.
•    Event Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-profile events, ensuring they are engaging, on-brand, deliver on business objectives, achieve KPI’s set and deliver a ROI within budget, across PRUK, London United and the NEE.
•    Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with responsible drinking codes of conduct, relevant legislative measures, health and safety and S&R policies.
•    Innovation: Identify and implement innovative communication and event solutions that drive engagement and brand loyalty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES     
•    Leadership: Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the Corporate Communications Intern.
•    Budget Management: Oversee budget planning and management for all internal communication and event activities.
•    Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful and effective internal communication initiatives, business strategy and event execution.
•    PRUK CODI Visibility & Engagement:  Coordinate weekly MD communications, gathering information from across the business to ensure accuracy and the correct tone of voice, representing all business functions fairly. Coordinate CODI Business Updates, including date confirmation, communication distribution, content management, live event hosting, Q&A sessions, and post-event communications. Drive awareness and engagement for MD Convivial Coffees. Manage the corporate communications channel (PRUK Communications inbox) recognized by the wider business.
•    Communications Strategy: Own and deliver the UK Comms Strategy ensuring it aligns with business priorities and brand objectives whilst keeping employees at the forefront.
•    Event Strategy: Develop and manage the event strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand values.
•    PR Corporate Identity: Ensure the Company values and PR Corporate Identity are communicated via all internal comms channels, internal and corporate events and are continuously amplified to drive awareness and continue engagement. 
•    Performance Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations and report on key learnings and KPIs to continuously improve future activities. Analyse engagement rates across internal comms channels to ensure employees are receiving key information from the business.
•    Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
