As an Internal Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our Commercial function—partnering with action‑oriented colleagues to navigate industry trends and deliver on client strategies. You’ll contribute to innovative projects that connect and inform the investment industry, develop your expertise through cross‑sell, upsell, and new‑business initiatives, and grow your career in a supportive, hybrid environment based in London. Your key responsibilities as an Internal Business Development Manager will include:

  • Managing and strengthening existing client relationships while implementing strategies to grow the FE Investments proposition through cross‑sell, upsell, and new‑business channels.
  • Driving pipeline, bookings, and attaining targets through programmatic execution against the go‑to‑market plan.
  • Collaborating with marketing and wider teams to generate demand and deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Partnering with the regional Business Development Manager to support retention of assets and ensure a smooth client journey.
  • Bringing the voice of the customer into the product roadmap to inform future developments.
  • Adhering to general security responsibilities as documented in the company security policy.

You will need the following experience and skills to join us as an Internal Business Development Manager:

  • You will have a proven track record in a fund or model portfolio service (MPS) sales environment.
  • You will be working towards or already hold a recognised industry qualification to level 4.
  • You will demonstrate consistent success in proactive client engagement and sales pipeline management.
  • You will bring strong verbal and written presentation skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • You will use CRM systems effectively to manage clients and pipeline, including forecasting opportunity close dates and values.
