The difference you’ll make:

  • Contributing to the development of the testing strategy and proactively supporting the progression of fieldwork activities

  • Participating in the planning and conducting site visits and information-gathering interviews, ensuring the accurate capture and analysis of collected data

  • Leading the coordination of the Audit Planning document and performing relevant analyses, including regulatory gap analysis and market practices during the planning phase

  • Reviewing and challenging existing procedures or risk management practices, leveraging internal and external data to inform decisions

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Prior experience in audit, risk management, or a similar field within an investment banking environment

  • Demonstrable familiarity with regulatory frameworks, with an in depth understanding of its principles and application within the banking sector

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge and experience of internal audit methodologies

  • Meticulous to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Experience in big data management, particularly within transaction reporting environments

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar software to effectively handle and interpret large dataset

  • Relevant academic background in Markets and Finance or equivalent

What else you need to know:
