Job Description:

Internal Account Manager - UCC/AV

Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid

This role follows a non‑negotiable 3‑day hybrid working pattern. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Milton Keynes office.

About the Job

We are looking for a driven Internal Account Manager to join our team on a permanent basis, supporting growth across our Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) and Audio Visual (AV) portfolio.

While this role includes managing a small number of existing partners, the primary focus is on building and developing your own pipeline, identifying new opportunities, and winning new business within our existing customer base. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth through proactive engagement, outbound activity, and strong relationship building.

This role will suit someone who enjoys picking up the phone, opening doors, and creating new opportunities, rather than simply maintaining existing accounts. You’ll work closely with partners to position Ingram Micro as a strategic enabler of modern workplace solutions, supporting them across areas such as hybrid working, digital collaboration, and integrated AV environments.

Success in this role will come from a structured and proactive approach, including developing clear business plans, managing a strong pipeline, and maintaining a reliable forecast aligned to your growth objectives.

Our customers and vendors are at the heart of everything we do, so delivering a high standard of service while achieving strong commercial results is key to success in this role.

Core responsibilities:

  • Build effective relationships with key partners and develop a trusted advisor presence across UCC and AV solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell across Unified Communications, collaboration tools, and AV technologies, using market insight and product knowledge.
  • Drive new business by identifying partner and end-user needs linked to hybrid working, collaboration, and workplace transformation.
  • Manage and develop a pipeline, ensuring opportunities are accurately tracked, progressed, and forecasted.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and business updates, maintaining clear visibility of performance and pipeline.
  • Support and enable partners by sharing product knowledge and promoting relevant tools and platforms, including Xvantage™.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and technical teams, to support go-to-market activity and drive engagement.
  • Assist in the development of commercial proposals, supporting pricing, incentives, and solution positioning.
  • Use data and insights to identify growth opportunities and support partners in expanding their UCC and AV offerings.

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a sales or account‑based role, ideally within technology, IT distribution, or a related sector. Knowledge or interest in UCC/AV Solutions is advantageous but not essential.
  • An interest in UCC and/or AV solutions, with a willingness to learn.
  • A commercial and proactive mindset, with the confidence to build relationships, create opportunities, and win new business.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and partners over the phone, via email, and face‑to‑face.
  • Naturally curious and motivated to learn products, vendors, and new technology in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Confident using business systems and tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; CRM experience is beneficial.
  • A desire to understand how things work, with the ability to spot opportunities to improve systems, processes, and ways of working.
  • A strong focus on delivering a positive customer experience while achieving commercial outcomes.
