WisdomTree Europe is an exciting and growing leader in the European ETF industry. We are looking for a highly motivated Investment Strategy Intern to support our European research and strategy team based in London in a full-time intern position (6 months). This role offers exposure to global financial markets, macroeconomic analysis, and investment themes, working closely with experienced strategists. This candidate will support the research team in a variety of tasks/projects, from developing new investment strategies to supporting sales in explaining the value proposition of our existing strategies. The successful candidate will also help develop WisdomTree Investment Strategy capabilities and will be in charge of a specific project, expected to be completed during the internship.

Key responsibilities
- Act as support for the Research desk in its day-to-day activities.
- Support the team in monitoring global macroeconomic and market developments.
- Maintain and expand our educational content.
- Explore how different asset classes behave across various economic/investment scenarios.
- Assist in producing market commentary, reports, and presentations.
- Conduct data analysis on asset classes, flows, and economic indicators.
- Assist in automating and improving research processes and workflows.
- Help maintain dashboards, charts, and regular publications.
- Contribute to thematic research (e.g. inflation, rates, commodities, AI, geopolitics).
- Assist with client-facing materials and internal briefings.
Skills and Qualifications
- On track for a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Investment Management, Econometrics, Public Policy, Political Economy, Data Science, Maths, Business Administration or related field.
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets and macroeconomics.
- Interest in innovative or less traditional areas of finance (e.g. thematic investing, commodities, digital assets, ETFs).
- Coding skills (e.g. Python) are a strong plus.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Familiarity of various industry tools (i.e. Bloomberg, Morningstar) is appreciated.
