Summary:

SEI is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for our London operations (approximately 300 employees), with strong generalist experience and a good understanding of the UK financial services regulatory regimes.

What you’ll do:

HR organisation

  • You will be an integral team member, collaborating to maximise all aspects of individual and team performance in London.

  • You’ll be responsible for designing and executing on initiatives, including but not limited to; compliance and regulatory matters, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, compensation, employee relations, TUPE and HR Projects.

  • The role will play a critical role in coaching, advising, and influencing senior leaders to help influence organisational effectiveness and performance

  • You’ll be responsible for driving the communication and adoption of HR processes, providing thought leadership on industry and legal trends

  • Your role will include translating business strategies into people strategies and tactics, providing a full range of HR services and driving the workforce strategy

  • All SIEL employees are responsible for the identification, assessment and control of risks and risk events. Employees will maintain a good understanding of  applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerance relevant to their function and or business unit, and are expected to consider current and potential risks when making or informing business decisions. Employees are responsible for the accurate and timely escalation and recording of incidents associated to relevant risks. In addition, employees are responsible for completing all required Risk Management training. 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • You will possess good generalist HR experience within financial services

  • You’ll have a good understanding of relevant regulations as they apply to HR including SMCR and MiFID II

  • Experience working in a complex global environment

  • You will be comfortable working with senior management and possess the ability to influence and achieve buy-in from diverse stakeholders
