Job Description:
Join Lottie as Interim Finance Director for a 7-8 month maternity cover, reporting directly to the CEO. You will lead a team of three, overseeing month-end operations, statutory compliance, and strategic FP&A. As a pivotal partner to leadership, you'll ensure the business remains audit and Series B ready while driving operational excellence.

Location: London, UK

What you will do:

• Own the end-to-end finance operations including month-end close, statutory filings, audit preparation, and EMI share scheme administration.

• Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO, providing actionable insights for re-forecasting and long-term strategy planning.

• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of three finance professionals, fostering a collaborative environment during a pivotal growth stage.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven track record of finance leadership within a venture-backed startup or high-growth environment, understanding SaaS and marketplace metrics.

• Hands-on leader comfortable switching between high-level board presentations and granular execution of month-end controls and reporting.

• Experience navigating statutory compliance and audit processes, ideally with specific exposure to managing EMI share option schemes.
