Intelligent Automation Engineer

Chanel's Intelligent Automation team is tasked with delivering transformational technology and process solutions to business customers across the global corporate domains, including Finance, HR, Legal, and Sustainability. We collaborate with process owners to pinpoint opportunities for Intelligent Automation, then design, implement, and manage solutions based on:

• Low Code Application Platforms
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA) & Digital Process Automation (DPA)
• Conversational Interfaces (chatbots, virtual assistants, copilots)
• Cognitive capture & computer vision
• Intelligent decisions & automated machine learning
• Generative & Agentic AI

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and curious Intelligent Automation Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our CorpFIT Intelligent Automation team. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders across our organization to discover, design, develop, test, and implement solutions that have a significant impact on Chanel's operations. You will play a key role in advancing our capabilities in Agentic AI and pro-code development, helping to shape the next generation of intelligent solutions at Chanel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to discovery and ideation workshops to identify Intelligent Automation opportunities across corporate domains
• Design Intelligent Automation solutions, using techniques such as lean and design thinking to co-create solutions that align technology capabilities with business needs to deliver measurable benefits
• Develop solutions based on various Intelligent Automation platforms including, but not limited to, Microsoft Power Platform, Automation Anywhere, and Azure Cloud Services
• Build Generative & Agentic AI solutions, including autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestrations, and AI-powered workflows, leveraging Microsoft technologies and frameworks
• Develop pro-code solutions using platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, and associated SDKs to create, evaluate, and deploy production-grade AI agents and models
• Conduct and coordinate testing (SIT, UAT, OAT) and manage solution deployment to production
• Collaborate with support teams to address and resolve issues with production solutions, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Work within the Agile Scrum framework to manage workload and report progress, actively participating in key ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives
• Partner with cross-functional development and support teams in the UK, France, and India

Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
• 1–2 years of professional experience in software development, intelligent automation, or a related technical discipline
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
• Solid understanding of software development principles and practices
• Proficiency in at least one software development language (such as Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript) with the ability to write, debug, and maintain production-quality code
• Experience or strong interest in AI/ML concepts, including large language models, prompt engineering, agentic frameworks, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services, Azure AI Foundry, or similar cloud-based AI development platforms is highly desirable
• Familiarity with API development and integration patterns (REST, webhooks, event-driven architectures)
• Appreciation of current and emerging technologies, particularly in the fields of Agentic AI and autonomous systems
• Ability to prioritize workloads, multitask, and manage complex data issues
• Organized, detail, and process-oriented
• Ability to drive your own projects to a high standard proactively, as well as work collaboratively with the wider team
• Professional demeanor with excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate concisely with both functional and technical experts
