Make Your Mark:
The Integration Consultant is responsible for implementing the company's accounting software products with new and/or existing clients. The Integration Consultant is also responsible for consulting with clients regarding best practices and client business needs in order to best configure the software and provide exceptional customer service.
You'll Get To:
- Leads multiple concurrent implementation projects with general direction and standard implementation procedures.
- Creates and maintains thorough documentation throughout the implementation to include billable hours, Salesforce notes/documentation, expense management, etc.
- Communicates with key stakeholders to ensure risk awareness, project progress, set expectations, and define next steps in a timely manner.
- Offers recommendations for improving system performance gaps and system options to increase efficiencies and achieve best practice standards.
- Assesses and troubleshoots application issues during the implementation cycle.
- Provides application feedback to Product team in order to enhance or resolve functionality for future releases.
- Ensure data integrity and quality in database systems.
- Maintain standard policies for database development activities.
- Provide database solutions based on technical documents and business requirements.
- Provide technical assistance to resolve all database issues related to performance, capacity and access.
- Analyse issues holistically, from the application tier through the database, down to the storage.
- Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated experience in managing implementation projects
- Experience in a high-revenue producing environment (eg billing of time and materials)
- Knowledge of accounting terminology and processes (e.g. month-end close process)
- Knowledge of MS Office, JIRA, Salesforce
- Ability to lead, own and manage a project
- Ability to prioritize with competing priorities
- Ability to navigate ambiguous or difficult situations or personalities
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012, 2014, 2017, 2019), MySQL or Oracle PL/SQL, with a solid understanding of best practices, the ability to write complex queries and knowledge of relational database internals (locking, consistency, serialization, recovery paths)
- 2+ years working in high-transaction environments is required
- Advanced working knowledge of different index types and how they are used: columnstore, full text, filtered, indexes with include columns
- Advanced understanding of OLTP vs OLAP environments
We're Even More Excited If You Have:
- NoSQL is a plus
- Azure, GCP or AWS are a plus
- MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications are a plus
- PowerShell experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of XML and BAT files is a plus
