Job Summary:
For our London Office, we are looking for an Insurance Data Manager to lead a team of Data & Analytics developers spread between UK and Italy, and at the same time leverage his/her professional network to actively support Fincons in its expansion in the UK Insurance industry.
Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Take full ownership in designing the D&A strategy and architecture of a primary Corporate & Commercial insurance client, including estimate of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) budget required
  • Establish him/herself as the IT authority for all operational and strategic aspects of Data & Analytics (D&A)
  • Increase the effectiveness and deliverables quality of existing D&A teams operating on both maintenance and projects for an existing Corporate & Commercial insurance client
  • Establish relationships with client’s business lines, countries and internal teams to improve the perception of the D&A team in the client’s organization
  • Support the Account Manager in developing new business with existing Insurance clients
  • Leverage professional network to sign new Insurance clients in the UK

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 8/10 years of experience in IT consulting for Insurance clients in the UK market, of which 3 or more as manager
  • Proven working experience in leading Data & Analytics teams
  • Proven working experience in IT maintenance and/or projects using Data & Analytics tools such as Alteryx, MS Power BI, MS Fabric based on Azure cloud, SAP Business Objects
  • Aptitude for developing relationships with new clients
  • Proactivity, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven working experience with Agile methodology is a plus
