Department OverviewGlobal Education believes that knowledge is power, and our mission is to empower partners and customers through engaging and effective educational experiences. Within our team, we produce online training content tailored to specific business units' products and support the onboarding of acquired companies to MSIs the customer and internal training portals by designing and delivering online and instructor-led content.
Job Description
Design interactive, visually compelling online training that explains technical concepts, product features, and role-based workflows.
Develop multimedia assets—including videos, animations, simulations, graphics, and assessments—using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Blender.
Translate complex hardware and software behaviors into intuitive, task-based learning materials.
Build strong foundational knowledge of Motorola Solutions’ products, workflows, and solution ecosystem to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Track product updates and release cycles to update training aligned with product roadmaps.
Partner with SMEs, product managers, engineers, and technical teams to gather information, validate content, and ensure training alignment.
Manage training assets within a product portfolio, including planning, prioritization, and on-time delivery of updates.
Lead or coordinate projects across global teams and time zones using strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ensure all training aligns with Motorola Solutions’ brand, accessibility standards, and quality expectations.
Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate scripting, prototyping, media creation, and content optimization.
Analyze training performance using learner data, analytics, and feedback to continuously refine learning materials.
Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to produce modular, performance-focused training experiences.
Basic Requirements
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field.
3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or digital learning roles.
Demonstrated proficiency developing eLearning with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Camtasia.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, performance-based design, and modular content architecture.
Ability to translate technical subject matter into intuitive, engaging learning experiences.
Demonstrated interest in generative AI and experience using AI tools in content development, scripting, or media workflows.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Experience designing training for technical or product-focused audiences (preferred).
Knowledge of product-based training, scenario-based learning, or performance support frameworks (preferred).
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
