We are always looking for the next generation of future leaders who have the potential to be just as passionate about media and advertising as we are!

Working at a media agency

Simply put, a media agency takes a client’s messaging for their brand and looks at how best to strategically communicate it to the consumer, taking into account people’s habits and behaviours (when and what they watch, read, listen to, how they buy products etc.). A media agency will typically have many departments that cover each specialist area within this process, all working together to deliver commercially successful, outstanding campaigns for the client.

WHAT YOU GET FROM US

From our comprehensive development programme to mentoring and on the job experiences, we’ll provide you with lively and stimulating learning to help you develop and progress your career. We marry this with a regular appraisal, that includes 360 feedback and on-going career catch-ups to discuss how you’re doing.

About the Role:

Fuse is looking for a curious and motivated individual to join our growing Insights & Effectiveness team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how sponsorships are planned, executed, and measured, while working on high-profile global partnerships such as FedEx & UEFA Champions League and Nissan & Formula E.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with data and insights that shape sponsorship strategies, while developing practical skills in research, reporting, and analysis. Some tasks will be routine, but they’re essential to building a strong foundation in this field – and you’ll be supported every step of the way.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting in the creation of insight reports across broadcast, social, and digital channels.
  • Collaborating with the team to extract actionable insights that help clients maximise sponsorship value.
  • Organising and maintaining sponsorship performance data, including contributing to a football sponsorship dashboard.
  • Learning to use social listening tools to monitor fan conversations and emerging trends.
  • Using consumer research platforms (e.g., Global Web Index, YouGov) to help understand audience behaviours and preferences.
  • Gaining exposure to media monitoring tools such as TechEdge to track TV audiences and produce reports on broadcast coverage.

Desired Skills & Experience

This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone starting their professional journey. You don’t need deep experience, but these qualities will help you succeed:

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn,  you’ll be exposed to lots of new tools and approaches.
  • Comfortable working with data (basic Excel skills are a plus). You don’t need to be a data expert, but you shouldn’t shy away from numbers.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and interest in sport and entertainment.

You need to have the ability & willingness to work flexibly, usually in the London office.

This is a full-time role and you must be eligible to work in the UK. The role will initially be five days a week in role, moving to four days a week in role with one dedicated study day once enrolled on the level 3 apprenticeship programme.

Fuse job descriptions are not intended to be restrictive and are a guideline to the duties in this role.

We are committed to providing comprehensive training & development plans for all team members.
