Curious. Thoughtful. Ready to learn fast.

We’re not looking for experience. We’re looking for attitude.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Verve as an Insight Associate, working within an AI-powered market research consultancy.

Whether your background is in humanities, social sciences, business, STEM – or another discipline rooted in critical thinking – we want to hear from you.

Who we are

Verve is an award-winning insight consultancy helping some of the world’s biggest brands – like Samsung, Mars, the BBC and John Lewis Partnership – make smarter decisions with speed and confidence.

We combine deep human understanding with cultural intelligence and cutting-edge AI to answer complex questions about people and the future.

We use a range of research methodologies – from qualitative exploration to advanced quantitative analysis – alongside Vero, our AI-powered platform, where we build human-like simulations, to help us understand and empathise with people’s needs and behaviours.

We don’t just do research quicker – we do it differently. More imaginative. More rigorous. More human.

What we’re offering

This role is all about potential.

You’ll join as an Insight Associate, working across client projects and AI-powered research development, learning how to design research, interpret human behaviour, and use AI as a core part of how you work.

From day one, you’ll be contributing to real work – while being supported to learn fast, experiment, and build confidence.

You’ll:

  • Learn how to turn data into meaningful, commercially relevant insight
  • Contribute to real client projects across sectors – from innovation to comms and brand strategy
  • Be part of a consultancy team that’s embracing next-gen insight approaches
  • Get hands-on with cutting-edge AI tools, simulations and workflows – while helping explore and test new ways of delivering insight
  • Work closely with a friendly, ambitious team that values experimentation, creativity and collaboration

What we’re looking for

  • Someone with strong critical thinking, developed through any discipline or experience. Backgrounds in humanities, social sciences, business, or STEM are of interest, but a formal degree is not required.
  • Someone curious about people, culture and technology
  • A clear thinker who can structure ideas and communicate them simply and well
  • A proactive learner – comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity and experimentation
  • An interest in how AI can improve the way we think, analyse and create
  • As a bonus, an interest or aptitude for writing clear, punchy marketing content
  • Based in or near London or Manchester and happy to be in the office at least two days a week

 Join us

If you’re interested in joining us, please click through to the application link. As part of the process, you’ll be asked to:

  • Upload a copy of your CV
  • Record a short (1-minute) video introduction and share a link to it (e.g. via Google Drive or another cloud platform)
  • Answer a few short questions about yourself

Thank you for your interest in Verve – we look forward to hearing from you.
