THE ROLE:
Our clients are looking for an Insider Risk Manager to join their team.

ABOUT YOU & THE ROLE

As Insider Risk Manager, you will lead the global Insider Risk and Data Loss Prevention capability within Global Cyber Operations. You will act as Product Owner for Insider Risk and DLP within the Product Centric Delivery Model, holding accountability for service stability, operational delivery, control improvement, budget, and strategy. Sitting at the intersection of leadership and technical execution, you will manage a global team, partner with Capability Architects, collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders like HR, Legal, and Compliance, and serve as the escalation point for cyber control capabilities.

• Capability Leadership: Experience leading or managing an Insider Risk, DLP, cyber investigations, or related cyber operations team.
• Technical & Platform Expertise: Solid understanding of DLP/Insider Risk technologies, detection logic, tuning, and hands-on experience with tools like Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, Proofpoint, or ServiceNow DLP.
• Sensitive Case Handling: Proven track record of managing high-risk data loss events and sensitive investigations with high confidentiality, sound judgment, and defensible evidence handling.
• Product & Delivery Ownership: Experience managing a product roadmap, backlog, prioritization model, delivery plan, and budget within an agile or product-centric framework.
• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Skilled at building trusted working relationships with HR, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and Information Security Officers.
• Operational Improvement & Reporting: Strong ability to track KPIs/KRIs, prepare audit evidence, and streamline operations through automation and false-positive reduction.
  

SOME THINGS YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

• Leading and mentoring the global Insider Risk and DLP team, establishing consistent ways of working, clear accountability, and supporting succession planning across regions.
• Owning the end-to-end Insider Risk strategy, operating model, product roadmap, service improvement plan, and budget.
• Defining, monitoring, and tuning insider risk and data loss detection controls across endpoint, email, cloud, web, and collaboration channels.
• Overseeing case handling standards, investigation quality, triage, evidence standards, escalation frameworks, and closure criteria.
• driving operational efficiency through the controlled introduction of AI, context-driven investigation workflows, and alert automation.
• Managing vendor and supplier relationships, performance monitoring, and integration of platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, Proofpoint, and ServiceNow DLP.
• Representing the function in audit, risk forums, control reviews, and governance discussions while reporting key operational metrics (KPIs, KRIs, false positives, cycle times) to senior stakeholders.
