Inside Sales Specialist 
Location: Hastings, East Sussex
Contract: Full‑time, Permanent
Hours: 40 per week
We are looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our EMEIA Sales team. In this role, you will support sales growth across assigned territories by building strong customer relationships, managing enquiries, generating quotations, and identifying new business opportunities.
Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting the sales process from enquiry through to order. A key part of the role will involve responding to RFQs, preparing accurate quotations, proactively following up opportunities, and helping to convert enquiries into business. Your contribution will play an important role in driving customer satisfaction, account growth, and overall sales success.

How you will contribute:
  • Being proactive, driven and active in customer engagement will be critical in this role. 
  • Efficient, timely and accurate response to customer enquiries pursuing customer and opportunity discovery, rapid qualification and quotation generation, documented within the CRM.
  • Follow-up quotes systematically with customers in a timely manner as defined within the KPIs.
  • CRM Utilisation: Use of the CRM system efficiently and in a timely manner, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry that enables us to make informed decisions and deliver personalised experiences to our customers.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support the highest levels of (both internal and external) customer satisfaction.
  • Develop skills to enable and maximise job performance and professional development including becoming highly knowledgeable about the KJLC product range.
  • Maintain the reputation of KJLC by utilising professional sales skills, including high level networking, excellent communication, negotiation and organisational abilities.
  • Capture market intelligence relevant to competition, customer order timing, and overall quotation conversion ratio.
  • Manage quotation process (from receipt to order/resolution) including active & proactive follow up, engagement with the customer(s) to identify possible alternative products and/or cross selling opportunities, as well as competitor intel gathering.
  • Proactively react to incoming inquiries by providing consultative selling solutions.
  • Grow assigned customers & territories, meeting/exceeding sales revenue and GP targets for those areas.
  • Assist with specific product-related sales and follow-up strategies to support product growth and analysis of competition.
  • To provide information as requested by management to include but not limited to call analysis, customer feedback and KPIs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
Required
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience of being a sales professional.
  • Self-starter – to proactively exceed KPIs.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in an inside sales or technical sales related field.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ERP + CRM applications.
Preferred
  • Vacuum Industry Knowledge.
  • Foreign Language.
  • Formal Sales Training.
  • Project management skills / experience.
  • Technical sales experience.
