Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support customer acquisition and engagement for our platform. In this role, you will conduct outbound sales outreach, qualify potential customers, and guide prospects through the registration process.

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in generating leads, maintaining customer relationships, and guiding prospects through the next steps after registration.  

Responsibilities and Duties

Outbound Sales & Lead Generation
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to potential customers to introduce the platform and generate interest.

  • Identify and qualify leads by assessing customer needs, eligibility, and readiness to register or apply.

  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and follow-up initiatives.

Prospect Engagement & Follow-Ups
  • Follow up with prospects through phone calls, email, and SMS regarding pending registrations or applications.

  • Maintain consistent communication with leads to encourage platform sign-ups and engagement.

  • Educate prospects on the platform’s product features, benefits, and advantages.

Customer Onboarding Support
  • Assist customers in connecting with the appropriate Onboarding Account Executive for account setup and onboarding.
     

  • Provide guidance to customers throughout the registration process to ensure a seamless experience.

CRM Management & Sales Tracking
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities in the CRM system.

  • Track lead status, engagement history, and conversion progress.

Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the registration and support teams to optimize outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.

  • Share feedback and insights from customer interactions to support continuous improvement of sales processes.

Customer Support
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions related to the registration process and other platform inquiries.

  • Provide backup customer support when needed to maintain service continuity and ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive sales, particularly in the used car market, is preferred.

  • A college diploma or equivalent experience is required. Additional education or training in sales and marketing is a plus.

  • At least 5 years of combined sales experience (preferably outbound) and customers service experience 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of automotive products, features, and industry trends.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Five9, and Zoom.

  • Communication & Relationship Skills
    Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively through calls, emails, and messages while actively listening and building trust with prospects.

  • Prospecting & Sales Skills
    Capability to identify potential customers, perform cold outreach, qualify leads, handle objections, and close deals effectively.

  • Technical & CRM Proficiency
    Familiarity with sales tools and CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage leads and track lead progress activities.

  • Resilience & Organization
    Persistence in handling rejection, ability to meet sales targets, strong time management, and maintaining an organized sales pipeline.
