Job Description:

Inside Sales Account Manager

Location: Northwich - Hybrid

This role follows a non‑negotiable 3‑day hybrid working pattern. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.

About the Job

We're looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to join our Comms-Care team.

In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of customer accounts, helping customers get the most from their services while identifying opportunities to grow and develop existing relationships. You'll be responsible for managing a high volume of accounts, generating sales opportunities and delivering an excellent customer experience.

If you enjoy developing customer relationships, nurturing opportunities and making a real commercial impact, while working closely with colleagues across the wider sales organisation, this could be an excellent next step in your sales career.

Core responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong and lasting relationships.

  • Help customers get the most from their services by understanding their needs and goals.

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling and renewals.

  • Engage with customers through calls, emails and other channels to build relationships and uncover opportunities.

  • Manage sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to completion, maintaining an accurate pipeline.

  • Work closely with colleagues across the wider sales team to deliver the best outcomes for customers.

  • Deliver an excellent customer experience while supporting both customer success and business growth.

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in inside sales, account management, business development or a similar customer-focused sales role.

  • The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and supporting account growth.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues at all levels.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline.

  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with wider sales and support teams.
