Inside Applications Specialist (Downstream Bioprocessing) - Onsite - Marlborough, MA

As our Inside Applications Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert supporting our sales force and field specialists, driving product excellence and customer satisfaction from the lab to full-scale implementation.

What You’ll Achieve with Us

• Become the expert. Deliver product presentations, demos, and conduct studies to support customer applications.
• Portfolio knowledge. Develop end to end knowledge of Sartorius offerings to support the commercial organization in North America. 
• Design smarter solutions. Analyze customer processes and support the development of solutions for their specific process.
• Solve real problems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing customers.
• Shape the future. Gather and analyze product performance data and customer feedback to influence product development.
• Know the competition. Report on competitor products and market trends to keep us ahead of the curve.
• Educate and inspire. Support internal and external training events that build trust and excitement.
• Conduct Trials. Leverage Sartorius’s portfolio to generate application data for customer evaluations. 

What Will Convince Us

• Bachelor’s degree in biological engineering, biotechnology, or a related life sciences field
• 2+ years of industry experience with bioprocessing applications and technologies
• 1+ year experience Process Development, pilot plant or tech-transfer experience with an emphasis in downstream bioprocessing is preferred
• Familiarity with lab equipment, single-use technologies, and bioprocessing workflows
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Confidence in interfacing with cross-functional teams and management
• A customer-first mindset and a passion for problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Compensation for this position is a base salary between $95,000 and $112,000 depending upon experience and qualifications.
