We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Innovation Product Lead to lead the development of next-generation IoT connectivity solutions for high-value mobile assets. This role sits at the intersection of connectivity technology, product innovation, and real-world industrial applications.

From connected vehicles to powered assets and high-value equipment, your mission is to identify emerging trends, validate new business opportunities, and deliver differentiated connectivity solutions (e.g., multi-network cellular, satellite, eSIM, LPWAN, edge intelligence) that unlock visibility, control, and value for our customers.

You will drive early-stage innovation initiatives, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and turn ideas into scalable, market-ready solutions that serve industries such as transportation, logistics, construction, mining, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Innovation & Strategy

  • Identify white space and disruptive opportunities at the intersection of automotive and IoT connectivity

  • Define and lead product innovation cycles, from concept and proof-of-value to pilot and market validation

  • Own the innovation roadmap for creating a more immersive and entertaining experience for owners, passengers and fleet operators (e.g., global asset tracking, cross-border operations) anchored in car to cloud connectivity

Customer-Centric Discovery

  • Conduct deep customer discovery with OEMs, fleet operators, and asset owners

  • Translate pain points into product concepts with measurable ROI

  • Build, lead, and execute an automotive intelligence function for Cubic, distilling automotive trends to key stakeholders across the enterprise.

Cross-functional Execution

  • Work with engineering, solution architecture, partnerships, and operations to deliver prototypes, POCs, and MVPs

  • Develop product collateral, business cases, and commercial models

Thought Leadership

  • Represent the company in industry forums, innovation initiatives, and customer engagements as a subject matter expert on IoT connectivity for mobile assets

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive product management, telecoms, or mobility-focused product management

  • Proven track record in identifying user pain points then conceptualising and delivering solutions

  • You will have multiple examples of when you deployed your creativity to deliver effective solutions in the automotive or telcom space.

  • Understanding of IoT connectivity ecosystems, including cellular, satellite, a

  • Experience developing products for automotive, mobile assets or distributed fleets (e.g., telematics, tracking, condition monitoring)

  • Ability to lead early-stage, ambiguous product initiatives through a structured innovation lifecycle

  • Strong technical fluency – able to collaborate with engineers and connectivity architects

Why This Role Matters:

As a Product Manager for Innovation, you will be the work closing with OEMs, software engineers, and telecoms specialists. You'll be at the forefront of designing resilient, intelligent, and scalable solutions that bridge the gap between the digital and physical world.

New hires at Cubic³ are required to work onsite five days a week during their six-month probation period to get to know the company, their team, and our ways of working. After probation, we offer a flexible arrangement of up to eight work-from-home days per month, provided it aligns with business needs and performance standards. This arrangement is not a given for all roles.
