What you will do:

Leading the design, implementation, and evolution of Planet’s global network infrastructure, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking solutions.

Delivering a resilient and innovative network foundation that enhances operational efficiency, business growth, and competitive positioning.

Driving network security enhancements and continuous performance optimisation to align with enterprise goals and industry-specific demands.

Developing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions that optimise network connectivity and ensure seamless integration of on-premises and cloud systems.

Ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities across network infrastructure to support critical business operations.

Collaborating with security teams to implement network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and segmentation.

Defining and maintaining network architecture principles, standards, and guidelines to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

Partnering with program managers, technical leads, and stakeholders to develop a consistent approach for data centre and network migration.

Ensuring adherence to network and infrastructure best practices, providing oversight to ensure all deliverables are produced.

Partnering with project managers and providing leadership with overall responsibility for the successful planning and execution of Network and Infrastructure strategy.
Who you are:

Strong communication and presentation skills to explain complex network concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Hands-on experience with the full Fortinet suite (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP)

Qualifications in Cisco, Forti, F5 (TBC)
