Job Description

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will help power the technology behind the world’s favourite sports betting platform, ensuring our systems remain robust, scalable and ready for anything.

The Infrastructure Systems team manages the lifecycle of compute and storage platforms underpinning highly demanding products and services. This global environment is varied and complex, incorporating bare metal, virtualised, and containerised Windows and Linux workloads across private and public cloud.

Improving day-to-day operational efficiency and predictability is key. This role involves working on cross-functional infrastructure solutions, business continuity management, problem investigations, incident resolution and system builds, all while striving for continuous improvement.

You will be required to provide office weekend support on a rota basis, and you may be required to join out of hours support on-call on a rota basis.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid work from home policy.

Qualifications

  • Linux expertise including Ubuntu or Red Hat derivatives
  • Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Failover Clustering
  • VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) experience, including vCenter, vSphere and operations/monitoring tooling such as Aria Operations
  • Hands-on experience in file, object and block storage, with knowledge of vendors such as NetApp, Hitachi and Pure
  • Drive to implement automation through AI, scripting and coding using languages such as PowerShell, Ansible and Python
  • Interest in using AI-powered tools to support technical investigation, documentation and agent-based workflows
  • Fundamental understanding of networking, load balancing, enterprise FC storage, tiering and virtualisation
