About the Role:

We’re looking for an Influencer Business Director to join Hearts & Science, the fastestgrowing media agency in the UK. This newly created role will shape the future of our influencer capability within the Creative Solutions department and report directly to our Chief Planning Officer.

You will lead our influencer function endtoend: defining Hearts’ creator vision, embedding influencer thinking early in planning, and delivering culturally powerful, commercially effective work that drives growth for our clients and the agency.

With 10+ years’ experience in media and creatorled communications, you will bring a proven ability to integrate influencer into broader planning to drive brand and business impact. You will have deep expertise across creator strategy, platform ecosystems, talent negotiation, rights usage, and culturally fluent campaign development. You’ll also understand modern connections planning - how creators complement paid social, content, digital, and brand strategy, and how to embed influencer thinking upstream.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to the below.

  • Act as a senior influencer advisor to CMOs and senior clients, shaping strategies that drive brand relevance and measurable business outcomes - not just campaign metrics.
  • Lead pitches and highimpact strategic moments, amplifying Hearts’ market profile with a bold, distinctive influencer point of view.
  • Define and evolve the Hearts influencer proposition, setting standards for creator strategy, partnerships, platform usage and cultural relevance -embedding influencer early rather than as a tactical bolton.
  • Champion influencer craft, working with Connections Planning to translate insights and comms strategy into creatorled platforms, formats and ideas that earn attention and deliver results.
  • Serve as Hearts’ influencer expert and integrator, leveraging Creo and Omnicom capabilities, and maintaining an external presence through events, thought leadership, awards, platform relationships and talent networks.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth, elevating influencer from activation to a core strategic growth lever, with credible forecasting, pricing models and commercial planning.
  • Lead and govern complex, highvalue influencer partnerships, including structuring, negotiation and commercial modelling (SOWs, pricing, FTE models, remuneration), ensuring financial rigour and alignment with trading agreements and client guarantees.
  • Set measurement and effectiveness standards, partnering with data and analytics teams on KPI frameworks for brand and performance, and ensuring compliance with ASA/CAP regulations, rights usage, platform policies and brand safety.
  • Build and grow a highperforming team, defining roles and pathways, coaching craft excellence and evolving the structure to meet future needs.

Flexible Working

At Omnicom Media Group, we are committed to supporting flexibility for our people while fostering collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working.  Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.

We encourage open conversations between our people and managers to help navigate high-need periods and individual circumstances. Our goal is to create an environment where people feel genuinely supported to do their best - both in their careers and in their lives outside of work.
