Under the direction of the Senior Manager - Industry Growth Marketing, the Industry Growth Marketer secures, coordinates and manages marketing resources in support of building marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies for Wipfli's Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution industry sector. This individual will work on a team responsible for enhancing demand generation and driving collaboration with business development to deliver more qualified leads and support Wipfli in achieving its growth objectives.
Essential responsibilities:

  • Translates business strategies and market insights into results-focused marketing programs by proactively proposing ideas, concepts and programs that contribute to the industries' growth objectives and generate a quantifiable ROI.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive go-to-market strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Collaborate extensively with Insights team on campaign strategies.
  • Secures, coordinates and aligns marketing functional resources in support of the industries' growth objectives.
  • Collaborates with the marketing functional teams to meet content, creative, demand generation, public relations, research and market intelligence needs that support the industry marketing plans.
  • Collaborates with Insights and Digital teams to understand and leverage intent data to drive growth enablement activities.
  • Owns campaigns from inception to execution, focused on generating positive ROI, achieving intended results and continuously optimizing for best performance.
  • Monitors and assesses results to establish actionable learnings that impact the success and effectiveness of future campaigns.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration
  • A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in a comparable role
  • Must have a solid understanding of the marketing mix and how to apply applicable strategies to an existing opportunity.
  • Must possess initiative, resourcefulness, be accurate, persistent and dependable.
  • Must be able to establish a high level of credibility with his/her clients. Uses positive influence to manage peers and/or individuals higher in rank and demonstrates the ability to foster strong relationships.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintains professionalism and a "can-do-attitude" in the execution of all project-related assignments and tasks.
  • Evokes creative and innovative thinking from fellow team members, while helping them understand the core strategies and goals of a marketing program.
  • Shares lessons learned and best practices with internal clients and the greater marketing organization. Is an excellent communicator and proactively supports and aligns internal resources toward execution.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a professional services work environment
  • Experience in the manufacturing, retail and/or distribution industries a plus
  • Experience managing and coaching team members
  • Marketing agency background and experience
  • Corporate experience serving internal stakeholder

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $97,000 to $130,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
