As an Indirect Procurement Manager, you will own sourcing strategy and execution across key indirect spend categories (e.g., SaaS, professional services, marketing, and corporate spend). You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and business functions to drive cost efficiency, mitigate risk, and improve supplier performance.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will act as a trusted advisor to the business, bringing strong commercial judgment, structured problem-solving, and data-driven insights to influence sourcing decisions and deliver measurable impact.
A Day In Your Life- Category Strategy & Ownership: Develop and execute sourcing strategies across assigned indirect categories, aligned with business priorities, financial goals, and risk considerations.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with Finance, Legal, and functional leaders to translate business needs into effective sourcing strategies and drive alignment on trade-offs.
- Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, supplier selection, and complex negotiations that balance cost, value, flexibility, and long-term partnership.
- Executive Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, presenting clear, data-driven recommendations on supplier selection, pricing models, and contract structures.
- Supplier Management: Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, establishing performance expectations and driving accountability through regular reviews and continuous improvement.
- Commercial & Financial Rigor: Apply total cost of ownership (TCO) principles, benchmarking, and market intelligence to inform decisions and challenge supplier pricing and commercial models.
- Performance & Outcomes: Deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance, and process improvements across assigned categories while maintaining or improving service levels.
- Risk & Governance: Ensure sourcing decisions and contracts are compliant, well-documented, and aligned with internal policies and risk management standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, or category management
Experience managing categories such as SaaS, professional services, marketing, or similar indirect spend - Proven track record of leading negotiations and delivering cost savings or efficiency improvements
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including working with senior leaders
- Experience with ERP and procurement tools (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa, or similar)
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear business recommendations
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company
- Experience building or scaling procurement processes
- Exposure to global suppliers and distributed teams

The pay range for this position in Colorado, California, and New York City is $100,000 to $115,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The pay offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, and experience.
