About the Role
Independent Channel Manager is responsible for managing and growing the remote sales from independent businesses across the UK.

The role manages a remote-first model driving commercial performance, customer relationships, and execution for the Movado UK brand portfolio on a national level with the aim to maximize growth, unlock new distribution and optimization margins as well as commercial terms in line with the broader national sales strategy.

This role is based in our London office, 3 days a week.
 

What you’ll do
1. Channel Performance & Commercial Ownership

  • Deliver revenue, volume, and margin targets for the remote sales channel in line with the sales strategy
  • Own channel- level forecasting, pipeline visibility and performance reporting, providing monthly and quarterly insights to stakeholders
  • Analyse sell-in and sell- through data to identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions
  • Develop and execute tiered account strategies based on performance, potential and profitability
  • Manage price frameworks, trade terms and promotional structures with agreed commercial guidelines
     

2. Distribution and Growth Strategy

  • Identify national distribution gaps and prioritise new door acquisition across jewellers, department stores, fashion and B2B segments
  • Increase brand penetration and portfolio mix within existing customers
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and optimise underperforming accounts using data-led action plans
  • Support structured new business evaluation and onboarding processes
     

3. Customer Management

  • Act as primary contact for customers managed through the remote model at owner/buyer level
  • Define and operate a remote-first engagement model, supported by structured quarterly reviews and performance planning
  • Lead commercial negotiations in line with the sales strategy
  • Align account plans with national sales objectives and seasonal brand strategy

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers and Field Account Managers to ensure consistent execution of channel strategy
  • Provide structured performance insight and reporting to support field activity prioritisation
  • Collaborate with Marketing, VM and Operations to optimise launch execution and promotional planning
  • Deliver consolidated market and competitor insight at channel level

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–4+ years in account management or sales
  • A passion for sales and account management with proven experience in delivering results
  • Experience managing smaller or fragmented customer bases, previous experience with fashion/lifestyle watches or jewellery brand or fashion/ accessories desirable
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Structured, data-driven mindset
  • Able to work independently in a remote model
  • The ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Self-motivated and desire to grow within the business
  • A full UK license holder for a minimum of 2 years
