Brainscape, a leading AI-driven adaptive learning platform with > 10 million users, is seeking an Inbound Sales Development Representative to help us qualify and appropriately respond to inbound sales opportunities for enterprise and e-learning licenses.

Our chosen candidate will be tasked with helping us execute our sales and customer success processes, which consists of supporting a broad variety of users, including teachers, professors, publishing company executives, corporate trainers, and other types of e-learning professionals.  You will work directly with our Customer Relationship Management team as you qualify inbound sales leads and support some basic clients with end to end sales and service processes.

This is a part-time remote position, with the potential for growth to full-time (e.g. full-time Account Manager) for the right candidate, and with occasional travel elsewhere for live team outings.  The team is targeting native English speakers in North or South America.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and research inbound sales leads for Sales Qualification 
  • Deliver prospect responses using various channels/communication as appropriate
  • Schedule and hold initial discovery calls with prospects
  • Update prospect information into HubSpot Sales Pro CRM 
  • Look for and suggest efficiencies within our tool and team processes
  • Complete a range of activities for customers: invoicing, prospect research, utilization reviews, and consultation to help them share and expand their Brainscape usage.
  • Outreach to past “warm” leads for reengagement
Qualifications
  • Extroverted, creative, problem-solver to find the right solution for our prospects
  • Team mentality with ability to give and receive clear and constructive feedback
  • Impeccable organizational skills and communication skills
  • Strong stamina to hustle through multiple consecutive emails, phone & video calls
  • An inquisitive mindset and eagerness to ask users pointed questions
  • Ability to switch context and "tone" when speaking in different markets
  • Ability to “read between the lines” and find key “trigger” words to accurately triage leads
  • Confidence to be able to update and help improve job-related processes as appropriate
  • 6 Months of experience in SDR, BDR or other sales role is a plus
  • Ed Tech experience a plus--specifically with schools, test prep, and/or corporate L&D
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships and identify areas for growth
  • Multilingual a plus (specifically Portuguese)
  • Tools: CRM, Google Suite, Trello, Slack
