Implementation Manager

Are you looking to have an impact and be part of something special, such as shaping the future of healthcare?

Are you ready to lead complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS implementations end to end, bringing structure, rigour, and empathy to deliver projects that truly matter?

Do you want to create smooth customer journeys from contract signature through go-live and handover, while working with cutting-edge healthcare technology?

Sound like you? Keep reading.

At Semble, we are on a mission to enable health professionals to amplify their impact. We improve the way healthcare is delivered to millions of people by providing doctors and their teams with powerful, innovative, intuitive, and secure software. Our cloud-based clinical system is already used by thousands of clinicians, making their lives easier and saving them money, while structuring their health data to help research.

We are a passionate and driven team, proud to unite under strong cultural drivers:

  • Impact - We do work that matters.
  • Collaboration - We are in it together.
  • Human touch - We care deeply.

We are also quick to embrace
new technologies: we have rapidly adopted AI internally, and we are always looking to work with people who are excited to augment their work with AI.

This role can be fully remote in the UK and EU (with occasional travel to our London or Paris offices) within +/- 2 hours of the GMT time zone. We are unfortunately not able to consider candidates located outside these locations and time zones at this stage.

The role

This role sits within the Implementation team and reports into the Implementation Lead. You will work closely with Implementation Associates, Customer Success, Sales, Migrations, and Product teams.

What you will be doing

  • Own end-to-end delivery: Independently manage implementation projects for clients across your portfolio. Create and maintain project plans, identify and mitigate risks, manage scope and timelines, and coordinate dependencies across internal teams.
  • Be the trusted client contact: Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders throughout implementation. Act as primary point of contact, navigate conflicting priorities, and guide clients toward optimal solutions using your expertise.
  • Support change management: Help clients with change management strategies throughout implementation. Identify potential resistance and adoption barriers, advise on rollout approaches, and support clients through the change process.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work effectively across CS, Product, Sales, Support, and Migrations teams. Build strong internal relationships and proactively share knowledge.
  • Collaborate and share knowledge across the team: Work closely with Implementation Associates, leaning on them to support delivery and execution. Share knowledge proactively, contribute to team documentation and best practices, and help create an environment where the whole team learns and improves together.
  • Drive continuous improvementIdentify process inefficiencies, contribute to documentation and refinement, and share lessons learnt to improve team practices.

What we are looking for

Essentials

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering customer-facing software implementations (ideally in a start-up, healthcare SaaS or another regulated domain).
  • Strong project management fundamentals: scope, schedule, budget, quality, RAID, change control, governance, and stakeholder management.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams to outcomes in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Comfortable working autonomously.
  • Understanding of change management principles and experience supporting clients through adoption challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to support more junior team members.
  • Commercial awareness, including the ability to manage scope, recognise commercial risks, and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Deep product knowledge mindset, comfortable troubleshooting independently and advising clients on best-practice workflows.

Nice to have

  • Solid understanding of healthcare workflows and practice management operations (or strong appetite to develop this quickly).
  • Confident with common project management and collaboration tooling (e.g., Jira/Confluence, Smartsheet or MS Project, or equivalents).
  • Direct experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, e.g. as a clinician, practice manager, or other healthcare professional (nice-to-have, not mandatory).

What
you'll get in return

  • The great feeling of knowing you're doing something that matters: shaping the future of healthcare.
  •  £45,000-£65,000 (based on your experience and the value you bring).
  • Autonomy and ownership - we'll set the vision and share the context, then we trust you to run with things.
  • 36 days off: 25 holidays + bank holidays + 3 extra days (birthday and 'feel good' days) - that we will expect you to actually take so you can recharge and rest.
  • Company equity - everyone is eligible for Semble share options.
  • Comprehensive health & wellbeing support - including private health insurance, mental health support, and free therapy sessions through Oli.
  • Hybrid & flexible work environment - work from anywhere in the UK, with flexibility to work across Europe.
  • Get the tech you need - the latest MacBook and your pick of equipment to set up your home office ergonomically.
  • Work alongside an inspiring team - our founders have a successful startup exit, and your future colleagues are knowledgeable innovators in their field.
  • Fantastic office space in Central London, right outside Monument - with a roof terrace, weekly events, natural light, and the occasional office dog.
  • The usual perks: barista coffee, tea, fruit, happy hours and team activities.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and walks of life, including those from groups typically underrepresented in the technology industry. We also encourage applications from disabled and neurodiverse candidates - if there are any adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process, please do let us know.
