About the Team
The Pure Implementation Manager (IM) is part of a global Pure Implementation Team based in Denmark, USA, and Singapore. The general responsibility of the Pure implementation team is to execute customer implementations post-sales. The main responsibility of the IM is to lead and manage a number of these implementations.
About the Role
The IM functions as the customer’s Pure expert during the implementation and is especially an expert in the technical tasks of getting data in and out of Pure.
The IM is the main point of contact for the customer right after purchase of Pure and the ability to establish good communications and relations with the customer is very important. We take pride in understanding and solving customer's questions and issues, both technical and functional.
Key Responsibilities:
The work of the IM includes (but is not limited to):
- Prepare the customer for the implementation project, including assisting sales in pre-sales activities.
- Create realistic implementation plan for customer implementation projects.
- Manage and monitor the implementation as it unfolds, including regular online status meetings with the customer.
- Provide the customer with advice and suggestions on how best to perform the integration and migration tasks needed, including doing quality checks on the data provided and resulting data in Pure.
- Be the customer’s Pure expert offering advice and knowledge of best practices on how to use Pure to ensure that the customer harvest the full potential of Pure.
- Manage and monitor the implementation resources spent in the project in relation to the expected no of hours to be spent.
- Communicate, plan, and track the work for the specific implementation project with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that the customer launches with the best possible Pure setup within the boundaries defined for the project.
It is expected that an IM is capable of handling multiple concurrent implementation projects at the same time (the exact number depends on the complexity of the projects in question). Furthermore, there will be non-implementation work where existing customers need guidance and support for shorter periods.
Some travel is expected for each project. As a rule of thumb, we expect 1-3 days onsite with the customer one to two times per project.
