THE ROLE

Please note that this is a placement year work experience opportunity, aimed at candidates who are currently enrolled in their undergraduate studies.

As part of our software offering to our clients, there is a required process to capture and fulfil requirements and onboard to their given infrastructure. The Implementation Consultants Role is responsible for ensuring that key activity is performed as well ensuring the relationships with our clients are developed and maintained. Consultants will gather customer requirements by liaising with business teams to produce the right specifications relying on interpersonal and analytical skills. Once the approach and scope has been agreed, the consultant takes ownership of configuring our product as well as managing the full development cycle and subsequent implementation. As best placed to do so, the consultant will also support client testing and acceptance and work the Project Managers to analyse and accept change requests. Once the project has completed, there will be a handover to the support team before commencing the next project lifecycle.

Production Go Live Support

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong academic background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Logical and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience of writing software code
  • Positive client service approach with a ‘can-do-will-do’ attitude and a desire to take responsibility for delivery

PREFERRED OR NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES.

  • Technical skills including .NET or Java, database technologies such as SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL, XML, and web technologies including JavaScript and HTML
