Job Description

General Summary:

Hemoglobinopathies Digital Platform assists and coordinates the development, implementation and operations of portfolio of digital Order Management capabilities within the International Commercial Hemoglobinopathies team, with oversight from the Director, Hemoglobinopathies Digital Platform & Strategy .

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Heme Commercial Strategy, this role partners with the Director, Hemoglobinopathies Digital Platform & Strategy in the development and execution of regional strategy to advance and scale digital Order Management capabilities

  • Be the Regional Product Owner for Order Management digital systems such as ordering portals, dashboards, notifications, working with Business Owners to align cross functional build priorities for product backlogs and driving the end to end implementation with country teams as well partner with the cross functional team in the future development enhancements of the order management digital systems.

  • Support Change Management activities for digital ecosystem, including development and execution of internal and external training curriculum, assets, and leading training sessions

  • Partner cross-functionally and with country teams and cross functional stakeholders on day to day system documentation, buildout activities, operations, and issue resolution

  • Support preparation and execution of digital capabilities business reviews to inform regional strategy and identify process and operational efficiencies 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage initiatives that require collaboration across multiple functional areas
  • Knowledge and experience with defining and prioritising customer-centric digital features with agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategy, make strategic recommendations, and monitor execution
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Hands on approach, can do attitude and focus on delivery
  • Strong written communication skills, presentation delivery, and interpersonal skills to be effective in a team environment
  • Strong analytical mindset to lead others to solve complex problems
  • A solid compliance mindset and demonstrated integrity on the job

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical commercial teams or closely related field(s) (e.g., pharmaceutical sales, ad agency, etc.)  
  • Degree in marketing, business, or scientific degree or relevant experience

  • Experienced in contributing to and influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal stakeholders and commercial teams is required

  • Direct experience across different disciplines of relevance across multiple countries or regions is preferred

  • Haematology, Hemoglobinopathies (sickle cell disease and beta thalassemia), cell and/or genetic therapy experience is preferred

  • Experience in launching new medicines across multiple markets, ideally with some of this experience in cell and gene therapies is preferred
